Department of Education & School Psychology

For more than 80 years, the Department of Education & School Psychology has prepared students to teach and lead for a more just society in schools and other settings.

Grounded in John Carroll University’s Jesuit mission and liberal arts tradition, the department helps students develop professionally and personally to make a difference in the classroom, their communities, and beyond.

The department offers programs for undergraduate students seeking careers in early childhood, middle childhood, adolescent/young adult, and multi-age education-physical education.

The department also offers graduate programs for students seeking initial teacher licensure; master’s degrees in educational psychology, school psychology, and several post-master’s degree and endorsement programs.
