Holden Arboretum and CMSETT – Capturing Nature with Technology

In collaboration with Holden Arboretum, Capturing Nature with Technology – a teacher professional development workshop intended to bring science inquiry to local schools and use classroom technologies to make learning more meaningful – was held on the campus of John Carroll University in the Fall of 2013. Teachers learned a wide arry of applications, inquiry methodologies, and new instructional technologies to incorporate into their own classrooms while exploring the natural world. The teachers learned how to effectively incorporate Wikispaces, Skype, QR Codes and many other applications into teaching and learning.
