Exciting Science and Technology Workshop with Holden Arboretum
The Holden Arboretum and the Center for Mathematics and Science Education, Teaching and Technology at John Carroll University is offering a Workshop “CAPTURING NATURE WITH TECHNOLOGY – Applications for the K-12 Classroom” that will expose teachers to a wide array of applications and technologies, which can be used in the classroom while exploring the natural world. (See flyer attached).
You will learn how to effectively incorporate Wikispaces, Skype, QR Codes, video-editing and other technologies into your classroom.
The workshop will be held at John Carroll University on:
Friday, October 4, 2013 4pm – 8pm
Saturday, October 5, 2013 8am – 4pm
The cost is $30 (includes dinner on Friday night, Saturday lunch is on your own).
Optional is a One (1) hour of non-degree graduate credit from John Carroll University for a reduced fee of $160.00 which will be payable by check on Saturday October 5, 2013.
