Celebration is our absolute favorite day of the year and an unforgettable experience for admitted students and their families.

Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff will be on hand to help you discover your inspired future at John Carroll. We are proud to be Blue Streaks, and we can't wait to show you all that we love about JCU.

The Boler Capital Markets Trading Suite Powered by Bloomberg includes state-of-the-art technology for one of Boler’s most in-demand majors, finance. A touchscreen video wall and Bloomberg-branded financial terminals provide students and professors with enhanced resources for presentations and acquiring real-time financial data. We invite you to witness the financial tickers, visible from both inside and outside the Boler College Building, that display real-time financial data about our student-managed investment funds and the New York Stock Exchange.

  • Biology and Chemistry Laboratory Tours
    Visit the laboratories and see the state-of-the-art equipment that you will use as an undergraduate student in the Biology and Chemistry Departments. Faculty will be on hand to further discuss our programs and answer your questions.
     
  • Exercise Science Laboratory Tours
    Learn about and interact with some of the latest Exercise Physiology testing equipment, meet with department faculty and current students, and hear about our fitness testing program with local first responders.
     
  • Nursing Laboratory Tours
    Explore JCU’s new, state-of-the-art low and high-fidelity nursing labs where students in JCU’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program will practice patient care training.
     
  • Psychology Research Facility Tours
    See some of the control, observation, and individual testing rooms available to students as they conduct their own psychology research and collaborate with faculty.
     
  • Physics Department Tours
    View the laboratories and facilities for physics students while interacting with current students and professors.

Pardon our dust! The library is open during our building renovation. Visit the Learning Commons, the Center for Digital Media, the Mastantoni Family Student Success Center, and see the Saint John’s Bible, the first known handwritten and illuminated Bible in more than 500 years. The Help Desk will also be open to answer your questions.


Saxby’s Coffee Shop Tour
Visit Saxby’s Coffee Shop, a unique student-run café offering leadership experiences through the role of Student Café Executive Officer, who earns both a competitive salary and academic credit. Explore how this innovative program blends real-world business management with educational advancement, brewing up a new generation of entrepreneurs.

Immerse yourself in the Blue Streak community by attending your first Tower Time, a JCU tradition planned by current students, all while building your Blue Streak network and making new friends before your journey at JCU officially begins.


Presidential Reception for Parents/Guests

Parents and guests join President Al Miciak and Vice President for Enrollment Management Carolyn Noll Sorg for a special reception in the Donahue Auditorium followed by light refreshments and beverages in the atrium. This event offers a chance to prepare for sending your student to college and connect with other families of incoming students and university leadership.


Blue Streak Rally

Financial Aid Meetings

Stop by the Office of Student Enrollment and Financial Services (SEFS) to meet with one of our financial aid experts and get personalized assistance, regarding financial aid at JCU. We’re here to help you with resolving FAFSA issues, reviewing your JCU cost estimate, and answering your financial aid questions. No appointment is necessary! An accessible entrance is located on the northwest side of the building, near the parking lot.
