Internships are available this semester (spring 2013) for JCU students of all majors at the Cleveland Clinic Office of Civic Education Initiatives (OCEI), located behind the Legacy Village shopping center in Lyndhurst.

Students can earn academic credit while enhancing children’s education in math, science, health and wellness, the arts, and innovation. In recent years, JCU students have completed internships with OCEI in communications and marketing, graphic design, educational outreach, language translation, web development, and other areas.

These internships require at least three hours of work per week. To earn academic credit, students must make individual arrangements with a JCU academic department related to their internship area.
