The JCU theme for Lent 2013 is “Remember”.

Ash Wednesday is Feb. 13th.

Mass with Distribution of Ashes: 12:05pm, 5:05pm, & 10pm in St. Francis Chapel.

Rice Bowls: Campus Ministry will again provide rice “bowls” for you for Lent.  Proceeds are distributed overseas (75%) and in the Cleveland Diocese (25%) to fund initiatives to end poverty.  Rice Bowls can be picked up in St. Francis Chapel or the Campus Ministry office.

Campus Ministry is planning a variety of Devotions, Prayer Offerings and Events on campus during Lent.  A schedule will be available soon.  Events that are planned for 2013 are:

• Penance and Pizza
• Stations of the Cross
• Festival of Praise
• Faith in 5
• Trips to local Fish Frys
• Oxfam Hunger Banquet
• Vatican II Series
• Sacred Music Concert
• Lenten On-line Resources
• The Living Person: “Dare you to move”
• Pray from the heART
• Purim-Gras
