Prior to coming to John Carroll, X. Gloria Liu held a faculty position at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Dr. Liu’s teaching interests include financial and managerial accounting. At the University of Texas at Dallas, she taught Accounting Principles, Intermediate Accounting, and Accounting for Managers at both undergraduate and graduate level. She also taught in the Honors program. Currently, she is teaching Accounting Principles (AC 201 & AC 202).
Dr. Liu’s research interests include financial analysts’ earnings forecasts, corporate governance, and firms’ financial reporting behavior. She recently published in The Accounting Review and Journal of Corporate Finance.
