Prior to coming to John Carroll, Dr. Mark Treleven held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota and The College of William and Mary.
He has served the Decision Sciences Institute in various capacities including Program Chair and President of the Midwest region and Executive Director of the Society of Stellar Fellars, served the former Institute of Management Sciences’ College on Production and Operations Management as their Vice Chairperson of community Relations and Membership and Chairperson of their Nominating Committee, and was certified at the Fellow Level by APICS – The Association for Operations Management
Dr. Treleven has published research in the areas of quality management, dual-resource-constrained systems, supply chain management, part and process commonality, and information technologies in Decision Sciences, Journal of Operations Management, IIE Transactions, Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, Mid-American Journal of Business, and others. He has also consulted with Gerdau, Wagner Spray Tech, Virginia Natural Gas, Aleris International, and The National Museum of Education.
Dr. Treleven is an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
