The Department of Accountancy offer a number of scholarships to rising juniors, seniors, and fifth year accountancy students. These honors are given substance through cash awards generously provided by the accounting profession and industry of Greater Cleveland and our accounting alumni.


Undergraduate Accountancy Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of several accounting firms in the Greater Cleveland area, scholarships are available to rising junior and senior accountancy students who have been accepted into the Boler School of Business.  These scholarships are awarded according to academic merit. William J. Cenker Memorial Scholarship

The William J. Cenker Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to all John Carroll undergraduate accounting students who are admitted to Boler’s graduate program. In addition, one student will be recognized as the outstanding fifth year accountancy student and will be awarded a scholarship sufficient to cover the cost of one graduate class. 5th Year Accountancy Scholarship

This scholarship, funded by many accounting firms, is intended for students in the 5th year program who are not yet qualified to sit for the CPA Exam. This scholarship is awarded to students taking accounting electives in the M.B.A. program. There is a two step process to receive this scholarship. Students must apply for and be awarded the scholarship in the first step and then request that the scholarship be applied to the tuition for a specific course in the second step.
