The concentration in international business is offered in conjunction with the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Cultures and is designed to enrich Boler School of Business majors who are considering opportunities in the international dimensions of business.
How do we do this?
John Carroll is dedicated to developing socially responsible leaders. With a foundation in over 450 years of Jesuit Catholic teaching, our faculty focus on providing students with the tools needed to make ethical decisions in business and in the larger community. We believe in educating you as a whole person: mind, body, and spirit, and ensuring that all aspects of your education help you to become a well-rounded, well-educated person.
What does this mean for you?
In the tradition of liberal arts education, the concentration offers you an opportunity for exchange between the science of business and the art of language and culture. You will be equipped not only to understand the international business environment, but also to work effectively in it. You’ll be able to begin a career directly after graduation, or go on to do graduate work in business.
Students wishing to focus their studies in international business select a major offered by the Boler School of Business: accountancy, economics (B.S.), finance, business information systems, business logistics, marketing, or management.
For more information, including course particulars, please contact the concentration’s coordinator: Lawrence Cima, Ph.D., Department of Economics and Finance, at email@example.com or 216.397.4534.
