What is “Network for Success?”
Network for Success is an event designed to help John Carroll students prepare an elevator (introduction) speech that they can use when speaking to professionals at career fairs and other networking events.
How does the event work?
The students will practice giving their elevator speech to many different professionals over the course of the event. As the professional, you will offer advice and feedback about improving their speech. Students will spend approximately 3 or 4 minutes with each executive. The goal by the end of the event is for the student to obtain valuable feedback and have a proficient elevator speech developed.
How can I get involved?
We are looking for about 120 volunteers who are willing to help coach students on the evening of November 28. If you are interested in serving as a coach please click here. A response is requested by October 20.
If you have questions, please contact Cayley Huebler at 216.390.0909 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
