Started in 2007, the Arrupe Scholars Program is one of John Carroll University’s signature undergraduate programs. The distinctiveness of our program lies in the four-year commitment it makes to mentoring promising high school students for social justice leadership. Our students take classes together, volunteer their time at over 75 local non-profit agencies, and advocate for change wherever they see injustice in our world. Currently 73 John Carroll students participate in the Arrupe Scholars program and we are in the process of recruiting for the class of 2019.
