Shortly after graduation or departure from school, students will have the personal responsibility of repaying college loans. Students who are graduating, transferring, or withdrawing from John Carroll are required to complete an online Exit Counseling session. This Federal requirement will only take about 30 minutes of your time.
Loan Repayment and Consolidation
Shortly after graduation you will receive information regarding repayment of your loans from the lender or company servicing your loans. There are several repayment plans you can choose from to fit your financial situation. Please note that if at any point during repayment you cannot afford your monthly payments, contact your lender to discuss your financial situation. Loan forbearance is available for students who cannot afford to repay their loan due to financial hardships.
