Personalized visits are designed to help high school seniors and their families explore the student’s personal, academic, and social interests. We are able to individualize your visit in many different ways, which could involve discussing an academic interest with a faculty member, talking with a coach, eating with current students in our dining hall, taking a specialized tour, or meeting with your enrollment manager to help address your unique admission, scholarship, and financial aid questions.
To allow for the best possible visit experience, we ask that you keep in mind the following:
- Online registration will kick off the scheduling process for your visit. Guests complete an online request form where they can provide information on their academic and social interests, and select a start time and preferred length of the visit (we encourage students to plan for 4-5 hours). One of our personalized visit coordinators will contact you by phone or email when we receive your registration. We have found that this is the best way to get a complete sense of what you would like to achieve during your time on campus as we plan the details of your visit. Please allow two (2) weeks for planning and confirmation of your visit. You will receive an emailed confirmation that includes your personalized itinerary for the day and maps of the campus.
- Personalized visits are generally available Monday through Friday throughout the academic year with the exception of holidays, high volume visit days, and final exam weeks. Visits generally begin after Labor Day in the fall semester and after Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the spring semester.
- Many times, personalized visits are scheduled by your parents since you may be very busy with academics and extracurricular activities during the school year. We hope that your parents are able to join you on your visit to campus, and they should feel free to ask questions. We welcome and appreciate parental input and realize the college search process involves collaborative decision making between you and your parent(s).
We are here to help and know that you will be welcomed by everyone you meet on campus. Should you need help with hotel accommodations, suggestions of fun things to do while in Cleveland, require special assistance, or have any further questions, please call our office at 216.397.2020.
