Now through October 1, there will be significant road construction on South Belvoir Boulevard, the thoroughfare that splits John Carroll’s campus. Construction will stretch from the northern boundary of Mayfield Road to the southern boundary of Fairmount Boulevard. Traffic will be maintained with one lane of traffic in each direction for most of the affected zone.

However, a section of South Belvoir between Washington and Carroll Boulevards will be completely closed for a period of time this summer. This stretch includes an entrance to the campus.

We encourage all visitors to avoid this construction zone. Take the Cedar/Brainard exit (exit 32) from I-271, and follow Cedar Road (west) for 3.2 miles, past South Belvoir, to Warrensville Center Road. Turn left on Warrensville (at Target/Macy’s/Whole Foods) and stay in the right lane. After going through a series of traffic lights and traveling 1.3 miles, bend right on Fairmount Circle, and continue around the circle in the center lane until you come to John Carroll Boulevard (formerly North Park Boulevard North East). Turn right onto John Carroll Boulevard. You will see our main entrance to campus in front of you.
