Our campus is only 10 miles from downtown Cleveland, allowing our students the best of both worlds: a beautiful, safe campus in a neighborhood of tree-lined streets and lovely homes, with easy access to restaurants, museums, professional sports teams, recreation, and community service in and around a metropolitan area.

Cleveland is home to fast-rising startups, numerous Fortune 500 companies, government, academic, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. JCU will connect you to world-class research and internship experience in biomedical experimentation, healthcare, IT, educational outreach, marketing, and autism research. We even have a special partnership with the renowned Cleveland Clinic.

We also coordinate opportunities for you to serve those in need. We partner with several organizations, including those that are actively addressing issues of food and hunger, early childhood development, education, and domestic violence prevention.

And when it’s time for relaxation and play, Cleveland is home to world-class museums, three professional sports teams, a vibrant city life filled with art, culture, and cuisine from around the world, parks and beaches, and a one-of-a-kind lakefront experience on the Third Coast.

The Center For Service and Social Action sponsors a minimum of 88 weekly service activities throughout Cleveland every semester, partnering with more than 75 nonprofit organizations.

Broadway in CLE

Playhouse Square, Cleveland’s theater district, is the largest performing arts center in the United States outside of New York — only Lincoln Center in New York City is larger. For selected shows throughout the year, the Honors Program and various student groups provide discounted (or free) tickets and transportation for students.
