At John Carroll, we understand that cost is an important factor in the college process. Our philosophy about financial aid is unique; we combine resources to recognize academic talent and also use school funds and student employment to help as many students as we can. Below is a list of opportunities available for you as an international transfer student.
International Priority Tuition Discount
International students who apply by the international priority deadline of July 1 (fall entry) or December 1 (spring entry) will automatically receive approximately a 10% tuition reduction for their four years studying at the undergraduate level at John Carroll University. This same dollar amount will reduce tuition charges for up to four years. The discount can be combined with other awarded university scholarships.
John Carroll University Scholarship
Renewable scholarships of $10,000-$20,000 per year are offered to applicants based on their academic performance, strength of college-level coursework and participation in extracurricular activities. No application required.
Need-based Financial Aid
Students needing additional support to choose John Carroll beyond awarded scholarships can look into need-based aid which we offer through other university funds. Interested students must submit the International Student Application for Financial Aid. Supporting financial documentation must be submitted along with the application in order for the Financial Aid committee at John Carroll to properly review student’s individual case.
